Basketball Skills -
Kindergarten and First grades are learning to push and not slap at the ball when dribbling.  We use a junior-size ball for smaller hands.  Our new facility also allows us to lower the hoops to 8', another way to promote success for this younger age.
Second through Fourth Grades are practicing shooting, dribbling, and ball-handling skills.  We are also playing HORSE and Around-the-World, two games that help to improve shooting skills.
Tumbling -
Kindergarten and First grades will be learning the basic skills of the log roll and forward roll.  2nd through 4th grades will have the choice to try the cartwheel, backward roll, and headstand.  Safety is always stressed; students are not required to do anything they are not ready for nor comfortable trying.
