"Do the difficult things while they are easy and do the great things while they are small. A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step." – Lao Tzu
I have been teaching in the district since 2012 as an English teacher. I teach grades 9, 10, and 11 and am the 10th grade Nichols Honor's Academy teacher as well as the Diversity Tribe Advisor. Prior to teaching at Bartlett, I taught English in upstate New York as well as in Pittsburg, PA.
I have four children at home, who keep me busy with hockey, theater, and college. When I am not teaching, grading papers, or driving kids to practices, I am at the gym, running, or spending time with my famiy. Family is everything to me. We love the beach, camping, fishing, hunting, hiking, and being together.
I love teaching English and I love my students. I believe that we must struggle to succeed, that we learn from our failures, and we all can be successful when we put our minds to it.
