• Distance Learning

    What is this program?

Distance Learning is a series of online computer classes for students who cannot attend the program. Components are available for students who can speak some English and want to improve or for students to work towards their high school equivalency HiSET or GED.  These programs allow students to work any place they have access to a computer with an internet connection - at home, in a computer lab, or in the library.  Students can learn on their own schedule and at their own pace.

Distance Learning is free and is a partnership between the Webster Adult Basic Education Program and The Notre Dame Education Center of South Boston.  This program is funded by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, Adult and Community Learning Services.

Please contact the Webster Adult Basic Education staff at 508-949-8282 or hdennis@webster-schools.org for
more information about starting in the Distance Learning classes.
