Adult Basic Skills and HiSET/GED Preparation
The adult basic skills and HiSET/GED preparation program serves adults ages 16 and older, not currently enrolled in high school, who want to improve basic reading, writing and math skills for future education and career or who want to prepare for the HiSET or GED high school equivalency test. Classes are kept small to provide a safe and encouraging environment. Please note: adults can have a high school diploma and still be eligible for this program.
All classes are FREE!
9:15 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Gladys E. Kelly Library 2 Lake Street in Webster, MA
9:15 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays at the Jacob Edwards Library 326 Main Street in Southbridge, MA, in the Pioppi Room.
Classes are held from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at Bartlett High School in Webster, MA and at the former Southbridge High School/ Southbridge Academy in Southbridge, MA.
Students must attend a Registration and Placement Testing session in order to enroll.
