An
After School
Club
Based
Enrichment
Program for
Middle
Grade Students
The
A.C.E. Program is...
A program that
provides students from varying grade levels and backgrounds the opportunity to
join together and make new friends in an atmosphere that promotes acceptance,
learning enrichment and camaraderie.

Why
offer after school clubs to students at Webster
Middle School?
Children in the middle grades are the most vulnerable to
feelings of social isolation. Even with
the support of character education programming and the guidance provided by
caring parents, teachers and school staff on a daily basis, it is difficult for
middle-grade children to establish friendships when they feel that they are not
supported by their peers. It is our hope
that by providing these opportunities for positive social interaction through
mutual interest, our students will be empowered to form affirmative, healthy
friendships with those like-minded students who share the connection of common
interests.
